Daniel J. Umlauf, Esq.

Attorney

Daniel was introduced to estate planning during law school at Wake Forest University while writing a grant to help prevent North Carolina farming families from losing their farms due to poor planning. He began Salem Law, in 2010, and practices exclusively in the areas of estate planning, wills, trusts, Medicaid planning, probate, powers of attorney, Veterans Benefits and elder law. He has 2 beautiful boys, lives downtown, attends Salem Presbyterian Church, serves as the President of the Stratford Rotary Club, does yoga and is active in the arts community of Winston-Salem.

 

Audrey

Client Services Coordinator

Audrey joined the Salem Law team in 2024 as the Client Services Coordinator.

Audrey studied film and anthropology at the University of North Carolina Wilmington. For 7 years prior to Salem Law, she was in the film industry working on various television shows and movies in Atlanta. Before relocating to Winston Salem, she earned her paralegal certification. In her free time she enjoys going to estate sales, crafting, and reading.

 

Alicia

Probate Paralegal

Alicia joined Salem Law in 2023. Her focus at Salem Law is Probate where her kindness and patience are greatly valued by our clients

She is a native of Winston-Salem and is proud to call it home. She attended Salem College and is heavily involved at her Moravian church. Before starting at Salem Law, Alicia had a long career in marketing and sales. In her free time Alicia enjoys gardening, being creative, and spending time with her family.

 

Lauren

Estate Planning Paralegal

Lauren joined the team at Salem Law in 2024. Her focus is Estate & Trust Administration.

Lauren is a recent graduate from Wake Forest University where she studied psychology and art history. When she isn’t updating her food blog, she thoroughly enjoys traveling, cooking, painting, and spending time with her fluffy (not fat) cat, Morris.
